The Torture of shopping Jeans

Jeans Denim (C) Sophie Sandstorm - All Rights Reserved

Does everyone love shopping? Going to the clothing store, picking up the elegant dress for the evening and neat trousers for office? Yap I guess most of you would love to spend day just buying new clothes and those ones who would not - I feel your pain. I myself dislike shopping clothes and I am the worst person to ask to spend a day shopping. I just don’t like it. The heat in the shop or too much air conditioners, too many people pushing around, the queues for the fitting room, wrong sizes, badly fitting clothes, see through fabrics. Gosh it gives me a headache just to think about it! Especially I dislike buying jeans as I think it is hard to find the right size.

I have needed to find a properly fitting jeans for a year now as the shop where I use to buy my jeans changed the jeans and after that it didn’t fit to my body anymore. It’s weird as I feel that all of my girl friends can buy jeans almost any shop they like, but when I’m trying the same it never works.

So the story starts couple of months ago when all of my old jeans where worn off and looked like 100 years old. I knew that I needed to go jeans shopping, but as I dislike shopping clothes it took quite many months to actually overcome myself and go and try million pairs of jeans to find the right one. Now couple of last weeks I have been going to two or three shops just to try jeans, but without any success. Who could have guessed what happened the next week? I went and found the right jeans and not only one - three different ones. I was happy to finally get new jeans and hopefully I don’t need to go shopping for a while.

I bought three different jeans; Nice high waist jeans, with cute zipper details near pockets. Grey jeans, which are so soft! At last but not the least I got a classic black skinny jeans.

Do you like shopping clothes or is it a nightmare for you? What is the hardest clothing piece to find for yourself?
