The life changing hair oils for damaged & bleached hair

Recently I changed my hair colour from dark red to platinum blonde and during that process of bleaching and dying the hair I realised that I needed something stronger than traditional conditioning for my hair, so I went and bought some hair oils.

Hair oils have been on a trend for a while and big hair and cosmetic brands have started to sell their own such as L'Oreal's Garnier and Elvive hair oils. Before the trend hair oils were mostly expensive and sold in health stores and were suggested for people with hair loss. For these large multinational brands developing their own - the price cut down as well and everyone could afford them.

This is my first time trying hair oils as my hair has been before very good condition and I didn't need any conditioning, but after bleaching my hair... you can just imagine. So I went and bought Argan Oil Hair Treatment and Macadamia Oil Hot Hair treatment.

Argan oil treatment I just used after washing my hair to towel dried hair. The oil was almost invisible, but smelled so nice, the aroma was somewhere between almond and cinnamon. After I dried my hair properly I could feel that my hair was way softer than it was before. I definitely will keep using this.

Macadamia hot oil treatment is to use before washing your hair. The bottle need to be kept under hot water or like me put to the cup with hot water in order to make it warm. I kept the bottle couple of minutes in the cup of hot water. After that I opened the bottle and applied the oil all over my hair. The oil was warm, quite dark orange - brownish colour and smelled as good as the Argan oil. It was spicy, but sweet at the same time.

As you can see on the picture above the hair oils were completely different. Argan oil was almost see through and very liquid and Macadamia oil warm thicker and dark coloured, it also had stronger aroma.

+The Good
Makes hair conditioned & silky
Nice smell

-The Bad
Can be messy
Needs time to keep it in the hair

Have you ever tried hair oils? Do you have any favourite?
